It’s a simple place offering simply good food. We had the two broiled chicken breast with wine sauce and the broiled pork shop. The four sides:asparagus, chicken soup and rice pilaf.
The pork chop was well cooked with no fat. The chicken was well cooked but little seasoning. The wine sauce makes up for it(be sure to order it on the side because too much can take away any taste of chicken.) There is white wine in the sauce. Perhaps a bit too much but mixed with the chicken was okay.
The rice pilaf was a bit over seasoned, but well presented.
Desert was okay. The bread pudding had too much cinamon and the Boston cream cake was dry
The restaurant is popular and fills up early, but they managed to have a table when we arrived.
The service was really good.
