I want to highlight the excellent volunteer who was working in the area with the mummies on the afternoon of Friday, 1/31/20. We arrived when she was packing up her cart for the day. She took the time to spend over a half hour explaining to my niece all about the canopic jars. And even gave her a great acronym as to how to remember what goes in each jar. She said she thought of a window sill. “SILL – stomach, intestines, lung and liver.”
My 14-year-old niece had a wonderful time exploring your museum thanks to the kindness of that volunteer!
