I’ve been to this museum several times in the past, and am always taken away by the buildings architecture both inside and out, as well as many of the art exhibits. I find most of the art exhibits there to be really impressive, and I am a somewhat hard person to impress when it comes to art. While they do house many temporary exhibits that you need to pay extra to see, the permanent exhibits tend to amaze me far more. A few highlights I’d like to give to this museum are the restored mid-century rooms recovered from throughout the world, and the thematic displays based on countries throughout the world. Lastly, I heard the museum is currently undergoing renovations and adding floor space. However, I have to commend the museum and the architects redesigning the museum for redesigning the museum in such a way that stays as true as possible to the original architecture. You rarely see that in most places in America these days.
