The view is beautiful and Fantastic, beside you can ride a bicycle to see all the guns with your children on outdoor with the parking lot at low fee.

My kids and I love this place. It’s a nice “add-on” experience to a day at the beach at Cape Henlopen State Park. We do a monthly day-trip throughout the summer and early Fall. They have one observation tower that you can climb, several historic WWII canons and anti-aircraft guns, barracks and a bunker that they have restored. The bunker is a nice option when it’s really hot out because it’s underground and cool. Amazing photos and artifacts inside the bunker.

This place is an amazing piece of history. They have some really interesting artillery and it is a great place for kids to learn to learn. My son got to stand in the barracks where his great grandfather slept before shipping off to Italy as an MP. I'm incredibly grateful that it has been preserved and that I was able to share the experience with my family!
